The mood of the girls is very serious. they look like they are in a slouch position. I think these photos were made wit oil pastels. The texturing that you can see is something an oil painting would represent. The tones of red make it look like the girls have done something very bad, and the top photo adds a touch of blue. Which, makes it look like the girls is an innocent one, but really she isn't because the red. I think the artist tried to convey a bad thing. Like, the girls may have committed a crime.
